The hymn “Strong Son of God, Immortal Love” sets to music the words of Alfred, Lord Tennyson’s “In Memoriam.” The poet’s wisdom on spiritual struggles includes the line, “There lives more faith in honest doubt, believe me, than in half the creeds.”
