A series of firsts
Kalamazoo (Mich.) Mennonite Fellowship
By Will FitzgeraldKalamazoo Mennonite Fellowship celebrated its second anniversary in January. We give thanks to God for his persistent care for us.
We have had a number of “firsts” lately. We celebrated our first communion service together around our anniversary. We celebrated our first Maundy Thursday Seder meal together, along with communion and footwashing. And we had our first full sunrise service on Easter. We experienced the first death of someone close to us in the church, but we also rejoiced in the birth of Ezekiel Bruski, our first baby.
Kalamazoo Mennonite Fellowship is a home-based congregation moving toward official recognition as a Mennonite church, which we hope will happen this summer. We welcome anyone in the Kalamazoo area to visit and encourage us. You can find more details about us at our Web site.
