Mennonite Weekly Review has a treasure trove of past articles we’d like to get online for easy reader access, but I only have time to do archiving sporadically as Web editor.

Holy Humor Sunday
As the sun set on Good Friday, the Christ candle and peace lamp were the only light in the Lorraine Avenue Mennonite sanctuary. This began a 24-hour prayer vigil to help focus on Holy Week and to pray for peace. At least 33 people participated, covering most of the time period. The experience, with silence and darkness, was a meaningful way to prepare for Easter.

None can stop the Spirit
On Easter, Pastor David Brunner began a series of sermons with the theme, “None Can Stop the Spirit.” Josh Warner, trumpet, and Hoi Ting Davidson, violin, enhanced our worship music with their skills.
