Kansas couple to be coordinators of MCC Low German work in Bolivia
By Hoffnungsau Mennonite ChurchINMAN, Kan. — Pastor Willmar Harder and Hannah Neufeld are leaving Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church to coordinate Mennonite Central Committee’s Low German Program in Bolivia.

Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church will hold a farewell reception for Harder, Neufeld, and their three sons, Elias, Amos and Reuben, at 1:30 p.m. March 28.
Harder has served Hoffnungsau for nine years. He first came to Hoffnungsau as student pastor and youth worker assisting Pastor Dean Linsenmeyer.
Neufeld, who has a master’s degree in vocal music from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, contributed much to the music program of Hoffnungsau. She also served in the Junior Sunday School Department and was active in organizing the yearly Sausage Mission Supper.
The Harder-Neufeld family will relocate to Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where the Low German program of MCC Bolivia is headquartered.
