The original play, produced by Goshen women, tells of 14 U.S. women who are Cheyenne, Poarch Creek, African-American and Hispanic. They are among the global stories collected by the Mennonite Women of Color Oral History Project.
One of the play’s goals was for women to learn about cultures other than their own through the roles they portrayed, said Pat McFarlane, one of two women who conducted the oral history project.
Performances in Pennsylvania canceled because of a cast member’s illness are being rescheduled.
