Blessing of the bikes

By Terri StutzmanOn May 1 we had our first annual “Free Grace Sale” to be able to serve and reach out to the community.
We had the “Blessing of the Bikes” on May 22. Nearly a dozen motorcycles rode a 50-mile ride.
Pastor Dave Miller attended a pastor conference at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
On May 30, former pastors Marlin and Betta Kym shared during the worship service on “A Sabbath Reflection” before moving to Kansas for retirement.
Our summer Sunday school hour was a six-week study on “Discovering Spiritual Maturity.”
Bellwood delegates attended the Central Plains Conference in Minnesota and shared their experiences one Sunday.
Vacation Bible school was held in July with many children from the community attending.
On Aug. 1, Pastor Dave Miller had a pulpit exchange with Audrun Siebert from Beth-El congregation.
Births: Janessa Faye, May 17, to Phil and Erika Stauffer. Grandparents are Jon and Karen Stauffer. Great-grandpa is Clarence Stauffer. Isaac Dell, May 21, to Jed and Natalie Burkey. Grandparents are Sid and Peg Burkey. Great-grandparents are Arnold and Phyllis Burkey. Anslee Joanna, July 27, to Derek and Jennifer Peters. Grandparents are Denny and Carolyn Peters. Great-grandma is Lois Schweitzer.
Wedding anniversary: Keith and Shirley Spohn, 40th, June 9.
Jeanette Stutzman died May 3. Survivors: husband, Robert; children Charnell and Robert K.
