Three schools to play in Soccer Classic
LANSDALE, Pa. — Three schools will meet Sept. 10-12 in the Menno Soccer Classic.
Bluffton University, Eastern Mennonite University and Goshen College will play a tri-match in men’s and women’s soccer.
The games, dubbed the Menno Soccer Classic, will be hosted by Christopher Dock Mennonite High School in Lansdale.
The format features men’s and women’s teams from the three colleges in a six-game, three-day event.
EMU and Bluffton will play Sept. 10, the women at 5:30 p.m. and the men at 8 p.m.
The Bluffton Beavers will con- tinue play Sept. 11 against Goshen, the women at 11 a.m. and the men at 1 p.m.
EMU then plays the Goshen Maple Leafs Sept. 12, the men at 1 p.m. and the women at 3 p.m.
All three schools will have admissions and alumni representatives present to provide information and giveaways.

Bluffton’s men finished 2009 with a 4-12-1 record, while the Beaver women were 8-9. EMU’s men were 7-7-5, and the Lady Royals finished at 7-11.
Both Bluffton and EMU play in the NCAA Division III.
For the NAIA Goshen squads, the Maple Leafs were 12-7-1 on the men’s side and 5-11-1 for the women.
