  Peace signs get around on sides of Saskatoon buses

  SASKATOON, Sask. — A response to Mennonite Church Canada’s “Peace in the Public Square” initiative is rolling through Saskatoon.

  On Sept. 6, five posters on the sides of city buses debuted, carrying four messages promoting peace and nonviolence, including:

• Lutheran visit affirms reconciliation process

  WINNIPEG, Man. — Ishmael Noko, general secretary of the Lutheran World Federation, visited with Mennonites during his first trip to Canada since a Lutheran apology for persecution of Anabaptists.
