Century of publishing ends in Scottdale
SCOTTDALE, Pa. — For more than a century, this Appalachian community has provided a home for Mennonite publishing. This summer, that era is ending.
The Mennonite Publishing House building — which once housed rumbling presses and clattering typewriters staffed by more than 100 employees writing, editing and printing books and magazines for the Mennonite Church and others — is closing its doors this month.

Former book editor dies at 75 in Harrisonburg
